New Balance #NYCZante Activation – Live Graffiti Art on Truck in NYC

Graffiti Artist For Hire

On Halloween this year, we worked with New Balance on an activation for the New York City Marathon.  They were releasing the NYC Zante which was a new shoe for the marathon.  New Balance filled a box truck in midtown with their new shoes and gave away sneakers to runners who were willing to donate the sneakers on their feet!  While this was happening, we were creating custom artwork on the exterior of the truck.  Check out some photos of the project below along with video of the event!

YouTube Space Studio NY Launch – Live Artist For Hire (Google BrandLab)

Recently, we worked with YouTube & Google BrandLabs on their new YouTube Space NY launch event.  The space acts “as a hybrid production facility and classroom where brand marketers are invited to up their digital savvy while YouTube’s creator partners leverage the studio’s resources and acumen.”

With a whopping one billion unique users visiting YouTube every month to consume about six billion hours of video, it’s a smart move for the world’s second most valuable brand to set up shop near Madison Avenue. YouTube’s studios in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo have drawn over 30,000 creators to more than 450 workshops resulting in 6,000 videos viewed for 47 million hours. With BrandLab, it’s hoping to spread the gospel with those in control of marketing budgets, too. (http://www.brandchannel.com/home/post/141013-Google-BrandLab.aspx)

Torre Mexican Restaurant Graffiti Mural – Pennsylvania Graffiti Artist For Hire

Earlier this month, we worked with Paxos Restaurant Group and Jeffrey Beers International to create a custom portrait in spray paint for a new Mexican restaurant called “Torre” opening in Center Valley, PA!  For this project, we created a portrait of a Mexican woman wearing “Day of the Dead” make up.  She was also supposed to be the goddess of Agave which is why we painted her in a tone of blue.  We followed the client’s direction on a bright/textured background and were very happy with the results.  Hopefully, we’ll have some cleaner photos of the artwork to share once the restaurant is completely built out!  In the mean time, check out some of the progress photos as well as a time lapse video of the artwork being created!

Graffiti Art in the New Taboola US Office – Silicon Alley New York Office Graffiti

After painting Taboola’s New York office last year, they invited us back to paint their new and improved office in New York City. Great to see the company progressing and it was a pleasure to work with the team again!

Taboola is surfacing your articles, slideshows, and videos to the right users, on the most innovative publishers in the world, and inviting them to click and consume it on your site, YouTube channel, or micro-site.”

This time around, we painted quite a few walls in the office over a weekend. It’s surprising how much graffiti art can change an office and make it a more fun environment for employees to work in! After the installation, the atmosphere went from very corporate to a lot more “fun!” We are looking forward to adding more in the near future in a second phase of this project. Check out the photographs from the first phase of the project below:

Graffiti USA featured on CBS News New York – Graffiti Artists For Hire

“More And More New York City Landlords Embracing Street Art”

“NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Landlords used to erase graffiti from the sides of their buildings, but some have now embraced it… As CBS 2’s Tony Aiello reported, one landlord in Williamsburg, Brooklyn paid thousands of dollars to cover an entire wall of luxury housing with graffiti.  Developer LCOR decided to embrace the vibe, and spent more than $50,000 on art by the graffiti… Many have been paying bucks for the street art look, from companies such as New York-based Graffiti USA – whose clients include Facebook and LinkedIn…”

DayNine Consulting Office Graffiti Mural – Subway Graffiti Commission

We recently worked with DayNine Consulting to create a custom graffiti mural in their new New York office.  We painted a New York Skyline with a billboard featuring the logo one of their applications “Workday.”  We also painted a NYC Subway car tagged with graffiti listing out the company values/mission.  One of our favorite parts to this piece was transforming one of their columns into a NYC subway station column with a plaque that says “New York Hub.”  Photos of the installation below:

Warner Music Group – New York Office Sound Wave Graffiti – Interior Mural

Earlier this month, we helped create a unique hand painted design in the new Warner Music Group office in New York City. We painted a long hallway with multiple sound wave patterns in the company’s blue and white tones. We also covered their elevator doors with a hand painted oversized logo. The rest of the space was filled with patterns consisting of the WMG logo. We were honored to work with Warner Music Group on this project and hopefully there will be more to come! Stay tuned! Graffiti as Interior Design – 2014 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Graffiti Mural

After a recent project w/ Meyer Davis Studio painting the interior of the new Wayfarer Restaurant, we worked with them again on the 2014 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. This time, we painted a gray toned posterized portrait that was integrated with an exit sign near the elevator wall. This was an awesome project to be a part of and we definitely stood out from the crowd.

“Each year, celebrated interior designers transform a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art and technology. This all began in 1973 when several dedicated supporters of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club launched the Kips Bay Decorator Show House to raise critical funds for much needed after school and enrichment programs for New York City children. Over the course of four decades, this project has grown into a must-see event for thousands of design enthusiasts and is renowned for sparking interior design trends throughout the world.” (http://www.kipsbaydecoratorshowhouse.org/index.htm)

New York Times – Rocking The Palazzo
“…On the second-floor landing, a contemporary elevator door and some emergency and exit signage has become part of a mural by Victor Fung, a graffiti artist”

Newsday – An inside look at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House
“…The Meyer Davis Studio in Manhattan fills the second-floor corridor with work by Brooklyn artists — including a wall of graffiti by Victor Fung at one end of the space.”

The Washington Post – Kips Bay Decorator Show House shows off 22 rooms of decorating splendor in New York
“…Cool factor? On the second-floor landing, Brooklyn graffiti artist Victor Fung came on site with his spray-paint cans and created an original artwork, “The Scream,” on one wall. Fung’s installation gets even more of an urban edge because there is a glowing “Exit” sign in the middle of it.”

Dream Walls – Glass As Art
“…The hallway gallery was designed by Meyer Davis Studio and designers Will Meyer and Gray Davis basically transformed the 2nd floor hallway into a Brooklyn Art Gallery. It features 3 working Brooklyn-based artists, and most of the big press on the house focuses on Victor Fung’s graffiti art, “The Scream” on the far wall.”

Ask Patrick – …about haute and haunting, and a day at the opera, all for a price: Kips Bay 2014
“…Haute and Haunting
Elsewhere, mysterious, enigmatic elements like those shrouded figures, a wild-eyed photo of Medusa flanked by narwhale tusks, silenced portraits, beheaded torsos, disorienting scale, murky colors, blood references, and corridors disappearing in dark shadows made this into a haunted house of sorts, the Victor Fung mural in the Meyer Davis hallway frozen in an eternal, eerie scream, punctured like a wound by the ruby red exit sign. “
